Shalom Dear Friends of Netivyah,
The busy summer is almost over and the children are back to school. The Jewish month of Elul has begun and that means the Fall High Holidays are coming soon!
Once again, we want to take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful support of Netivyah, as we gratefully continue the wonderful things He has given us to do!
Joe, along with Reuven and Teruto, are traveling to Korea, Hong Kong, China and Japan for the whole month of September, and Marcia will spend that time with her family in the US. We pray for them, for good health, safe travels and that the Spirit of God will fill them and use them to further His kingdom!
There has been a bit of organization in the office with some good and positive results.
Oleg, with the help and ideas from Yudah, Emily and Hannah, designed 3 new informational brochures for; Netivyah, Roeh Israel (our Congregation) and Hamotzi (the new, beautiful and very fitting name for our food program!). So, as we begin the Jewish New Year, we begin with a new name and a desire to continue building up the number of people we can help in the Jerusalem area. In order to do that, we are contemplating new ways to raise the funds for such additions. More on those ways as they develop!
All is well with Kol Ha-Yeshua as the broadcasting continues daily in Russian and Hebrew.
We are making plans to celebrate, as a community, Rosh Ha-Shannah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. We expect many visitors from all around the world to join with us for these blessed appointed times!
We pray God’s continued favor for all of you and your families as you walk with Him.
Shalom and Blessing,
The Netivyah Staff
